Here's a great sounding copy of The Beatles' "White Album".  This is an early one, numbered 556390... it has the original poster with the four photos as well.

Vinyl:  VG+ to VG++  (7/7.5 out of perfect 10)
This is a conservative grade. The record has been cleaned on my VPI machine and handled with care. My grading is conservative and, to provide the best description possible, detailed text, numerous pictures and often audio clips are used to fully describe the record for sale.
Nice shine on the records as the pictures show! The disc has very light sleeve scuffs and light marks.  Side 1 has a needle mark that's light and doesn't affect play.  Great playback with no skips, smooth and continuous. Dynamic sound of course with very light background noise during quiet passages, some pops and clicks along the way as well. Overall, this is a nice record here.
Since opinions vary on sound quality, I've included clips of the record spinning from my turntable. Again, I cleaned the record on my VPI machine before playback. I use a Yamaha P-520 direct drive turntable with a Digitrac cartridge at 2g.  
The clips you hear below are unedited.  This is a visual grade as well as a complete play grade.  Again, please feel free to check the sound clips below!

Cover / Sleeve:  
The sleeve is in VG to VG+ shape.  This is a top loader so there is wear at the mouth (top edge in this case).  Bottom edge looks nice as does the other side.  Spine has some areas of cracked print but The Beatles and the record number can still be viewed.  Cover has yellowing from age.  Sticker at right front and number at bottom right corner. Some light corner wear, some rubs.  Overall, the cover is in above average condition... 
Photos are in VG+ or better condition.  Have some sign of yellowing from age but much less so than the cover.  No rips or tears on the pictures from my brief inspection. Poster has two seams split - basically at the horizontal joint.  Poster is all still in one piece.
Original inner poly lined sleeves are included. I pack my records well and get repeated compliments for taking the care, time and effort to do so.  Please see the packing graphics below for my packing procedures as well as my feedback to rest assured I take pride in my shipping practices.
Please inspect the pictures well for something I may have missed mentioning. I've enjoyed the record while I've owned it, its time to let it go to make room for more acquisitions. I try to be conservative when grading, I hope my description was sufficient.

All records are packaged with care and shipped outside their sleeves and covers, encased in bubble wrap, padded with cardboard when necessary, boxed in record boxes and taped well. SS = Still Sealed
any defects will be listed and/or photographed to complete the description

NM- = Near Mint Minus
just short of perfect - acceptable defects would include a hairline mark not detectable to the touch and not affecting playback, background noise is nearly silent

VG++ = Very Good Plus Plus
most records I will list fall under this grade, just short of NM- but may have a mark or contact wear to the label to grade it slightly lower, maybe a drill hole or saw cut, maybe a mark or name written on the label lightly, sound is still great, loud and near perfect, cover may have slight edge or corner wear, maybe slight ring wear

VG+ = Very Good Plus
 a great record, sound is high quality though may have a few pops or clicks, overall very nice looking vinyl possibly with light marks & scuffs, labels may have a name or mark on them, possible light contact wear to the label, covers may have a small split but not large or gaping, edge wear on cover may show more than slight, may be a mark on cover

VG = Very Good
only records I will list with this grade would be rather rare or of higher book value, meant to sell as a filler until a better record comes along, vinyl may have feel-able marks but should play through without skipping, pops or clicks may be louder than usual, may have marks or wear on the label, cover may have open splits, wear on print, may have marks or other very apparent defects (all will be stated in description either by type or in the pictures)
