I am selling my complete collection of The Beatles and Beatles-related records, albums, and novelties.
This lot is for a 12" LP 33 1/3 rpm record album titled "R IS FOR ROCKET" by White Flag, released in 2002 by Rave Up Records on a Beatles' Apple record label, label #RU-0033.
This is a very rare record, imported from Italy, shows Alfred Neuman on the cover (probably not approved by MAD magazine), on a Beatles' Apple record label (probably not approved by Apple Limited), issued by a punk group - White Flag. Record was made in Italy, imported and distributed by Abraxas/Runt.
The collection regroups the previously unreleased "R Is For Rocket" LP and outtakes from 1982 and their first ever live show recorded on June 14, 1982.
White Flag - R Is For Rocket, U Is For Unleased (only Italian release). It has 24 songs from the 1st LP & 6 unreleased songs from the 1st LP 1982 session & 1st gig in Sunnymead, California June 6, 1982.
- The cover jacket is in Excellent condition with no complete seam splits, or marks. (The cover still has its original cellophane wrap.)
- The record is in Excellent condition. No scratches are seen when the record is held in an angle against the light. - Also includes the original 2-sided insert about White Flag.
The album cover features Alfred E. Neuman, from MAD Magazine.
A must have LP album for the collector of The Beatles and/or MAD Magazine collectors and/or Alfred E. Neuman collector who want a complete collection.
