Description
Here we have a splendid copy of This Poison Fountain and Hypocrite on the Wild Party label by Surrey based New Wave of British Heavy Metal band White Lightning. I was the singer and lyricist for this band and I'm selling it for a friend so come and have a look. Probably bought at one of our gigs I would say and not autographed, but should the winning bidder require it I will do so with whatever they wish. Featuring the splendid synthesiser guitar of Simon Pengilly, the lyrical bass of Gerald Goff and the masterful driving percussion of Jeff Ward along with my vocals, this is a cracking piece of stuff with the un-Metal subject matter of pollution at its heart. The B side is more in keeping with Black Metal in the way that it decries a devout Christian (who in actual fact was a nasty piece of work and would lie to save his miserable soul. I know who he is and so does his redeemer. Spit!) There are not many of these still flying about so cop it while you can. Both sides could even be described as Thrash Metal because they are a bit swift, we calmed the A side down for the album, turning it into a gentle Reggae but the message is still the same. Hypocrite on the album is just as angry with an amazing Death Grunt from Jeff at the start. Get some in.
