Up for auction is the ultra-rare Psycho-Head Blowout EP from White Zombie. Definitely an acquired taste, Psycho-Head Blowout sounds like a strange, noisy acid trip that doesn't quite resemble the direction the band took with La Sexorcisto or Astro Creep 2000. However, it's definitely cool to see where the band came from when they were just unknowns cranking out noisy New York art-metal, or whatever you'd like to call it. Rob Zombie & crew have definitely come a long way from those days, but this time capsule is worth checking out for all fans of White Zombie and the work of Mr. Rob Straker. The record and sleeve are in great shape and include both the original sleeve as well as the original merchandise insert. An absolutely awesome piece for the collection.

Wikipedia says: "Psycho-Head Blowout was the third EP released by the band White Zombie in 1987. It was their longest release up until then, containing seven tracks total. The vinyl of the EP was limited to a pressing of one thousand copies. Kurt Cobain, in an issue of Spin Magazine, pointed to this album as being one of his favorite EPs and an influence to him."
