Machined First UK press matrices:  A-2U-1-1  , B-1U-1 the earliest possible issue and according to the mother stampers this copy is one of the very first issued in the first few days. As another signifier of a first press proper it has "TOWNHOUSE DMM" etched into the runout dead grooves. This is an excellent copy of this album which as a first press is extremely sought after. Not many are available since the vast majority of sales were on the CD format.

The records are on Track Records, STEREO. TRACK DELUXE DOUBLE 2657 013 (2406-110 / 2406-111). Flat Matt Black/ Silver text labels, 1st pressing 1973 original. Made in Gt.Britain

The records are in EX condition, Lovely Clean playing surfaces, when held in daylight it retains a great original pressing sheen with no marks bar side 1 record 1 which has two tiny scuff marks just mm's long but do not impact the audio.. AWESOME Hi-Fi STEREO Sound, superb AUDIO ESPECIALLY at volume, absolutely sings, with vibrant sound for the songs, only light static between tacks, no skips, jumps or sticking. Obviously played carefully with respect.

The labels are EX, extremely clean, no writing. Only light spindle traces.

The smooth matt sleeve, Printed by Euro-Albums Holland B.V, overall is in great Condition, no splits to cover, lovely 100% legible spine, lovely clean rear, no writing, nice and clean. Comes complete with booklet which is pulling out but the outer pages remain attached to the inner,  but that's the only minor to this superb cover.

 Sleeve:  EX.  Nice copy with perfectly straight edges and no creases!! The only flaw on this is some glue deposit to the left top. This is NOT a sticker tear and could possibly be removed if wanted. The spine is fully legible and the opening is crisp!

The inner sleeve with lyrics and credits on one side is perfect and is completely untouched!!

Vinyl:  NM.  Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen. A SUPERB VINYL COPY WHICH WILL PROVE HARD TO BETTER!!! Indeed, it has hardly been played if at all! The whole LP sounds absolutely stunning and plays to an extremely high standard with superb clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is very strictly graded a strong EX+++  for audio  - great copy!! I have played this on my very revealing setup with a Linn Sondek cartridge. Of course, NO skips, NO jumps, NO ticks, No crackle..
