  • Details:- Very rare Finnish prog/psych LP. Judging from the sleeve and label type this was probably released in the mid-seventies.

    The A-side consists of compositions by the organ virtuoso Jukka Gustavson, the style of which is proto-prog, with jazzy and bluesy influences. Particularly good is the album opener Pidän sinusta(I like you), a jazzy instrumental in the time signature of 6/8. On the B-side is the wonderful "Henry's" -suite composed by the pop genius Jim Pembroke. His compositions lean towards  Abbey Road and suchlike pop-rock landmarks and along with the 1975 album  Nuclear Nightclub, the B-side of this record must be the best pop ever made in Finland.
