ELECTRIC DOOBIELAND
for aficionados and admirers of fine vinyl
Wilco - A.M. (Sire Record Company 1-45857) 1995 U.S.
Jacket: VG++ PVC sleeve has a tiny bottom split, custom sticker
Vinyl: M- very clean and glossy
Inner/Extras: New poly-lined archival inner sleeve, outer poly
Very Collectible M- red vinyl Masterdisk pressing of Wilco's debut LP!
Stiff plastic PVC sleeve with backflap is clean and in overall nice shape save for a small (1/2 ") split at the bottom -- the edge actually curls under and has prevented the opening from widening any further. The LP has been stored in a separate poly-lined sleeve and outer poly sleeve, protected by cardboard inserts at all times since it was acquired.
The vinyl is very clean and free of wear, as are the labels. There is a small amount of cloudiness on both sides in a few places that I have attempted to show in the last photo (without much luck, unfortunately). If you've owned enough records you've seen this before; it's only visible at certain angles under bright grading light, but I believe in full disclosure. The good news is that none of this affects the outstanding playback of this record - it sounds great throughout (read my details section below and let there be no question of my sincerity on this issue - I NEVER list a record with a M- visual grade if it doesn't also play-grade superbly). Before taking the photos I cleaned and completely dried the sleeve before putting the LP inside and returned it to the spare sleeve immediately after, just so you know.
Satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. Bid with confidence and play it loud!
THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION -- BEWARE OF LAST-SECOND BIDDERS!
Details, details ..... All opened vinyl is play-graded using a Goldring G-1042 cartridge and vintage Marantz gear -- an honest assessment of sound quality is assured. All records (including sealed LP's) are shipped with a spare poly-lined archival inner sleeve as well as a new 3 mil. outer sleeve. Opened records are shipped outside the cover to prevent splits and all records are packaged professionally, which means using two full-sized cardboard inserts and two layers of bubble wrap inside a proper record mailer, which is securely taped at all edges, corners and seams for extra protection. Every package shipped out is plastered front and back with large black and orange "Fragile" stickers. There is no skimping to save weight, no B.S. -- I am also a collector and feel there is nothing lower than record sellers who cut corners on packaging -- rest assured, your investment will be well-protected. Domestic U.S. shipping is done via Priorty Mail with delivery confirmation for fast turnaround (I cannot stand Media Mail and I am willing to cover the difference in cost for the peace of mind, and because of the limited amount of LP's that I sell). International buyers should contact me for a fair shipping quote to your destination prior to payment. I combine shipping costs for buyers at a rate of $1.50 per additional (single) LP - even less if you purchase three or more LP's (within the same cycle of auctions). Payment is expected within 7 days of auction close. I am happy to answer any and all questions regarding records up for auction, so please don't hesitate to ask. I have sold quallity vintage vinyl to satisfied customers on ebay since 2006 with a 100% positive rating and plan to keep it that way. Please bid with confidence and enjoy.
