Description
Eight song psych rarity from Wildfire, Smokin’, which was originally released in micro-quantity as a demo LP by the band in 1970. Members of the trio backed Phil Pearlman (Beat of the Earth - Electronic Hole - Relatively Clean Rivers) as Phil and the Flakes. Reissued in 1996 by OR in a pressing of 500, this is apparently a test pressing from that run, although it’s unidentified. In a rainbow die-cut cover (still in the shrink), label has stickers for the song titles and “Primo†(original label). Dead wax identifies it simply as “Primo side 1†or “Primo side 2â€. Cover is near mint, and I could spot only one wispy light sleeve scuff on the vinyl, just shy of near mint. STop shelf west coast hard psych ~ pressing sounds amazing, too!
Hey, lots o’ psych and related items this week - classic and contemporary, obscure and renowned. Please take a moment to check my other auctions out. Thanks a bunch. Our photos are of the actual listed item – we don’t use stock photos. We recently switched to scans for a truer representation, but this limits our image size. Let us know if a different angle is needed.
All LPs are packaged securely, with wax separated from cover to prevent split seams, unless the LP is sealed or you request otherwise. USPS media mail shipping adds $4, and insurance is extra. International shipping is $13 ( Canada: $7). Money orders, personal checks, and paypal accepted, and, yes – we’re happy to combine items to save you on shipping costs. Payment is expected within seven days of auction’s end (ten days for international winners) or negative feedback will be given and sharp pins placed in a voodoo doll that bears your ebay id. Thanks for lookin’!
