“BEETHOVEN-THE PIANO SONATAS” Country: ENGLAND Year: 1970 Label: DECCA SXLA 6452-61 Cover: EX- Insert Book: NM Records: NM (unplayed)
Very rare box on the legendary DECCA SXL label series. This box is a first pressing issue and designate promo (please, see the pic). This means that it's one of the first copies ever pressed. The box would be in excellent conditions but it has an about 5cm opening on left below and about 3cm opening on top left, however the spine is very readable and NO ANY part of it is missing (you can see well on the pics). There are some other little signs of the age. For this reason I put EX- on the box grading. 18 sides on the 20 sides in total are unplayed, the other two sides have been played just one time. All the original inners sleeves are here still present. The original protective plastic bags (I mean the ones inside the original inner sleeves) have left some dirty on the vinyls. This is due the storage for many years. My advice is to make a good cleaning and all will be perfect.
VERY IMPORTANT This is an almost 3kg record box weight so it is not possible to send it outside Italy with the Registered Airmail Shipping. We have many kind of shipping like Express Mail Service (EMS), International Courier, Quick Pack Europe, etc. So, please, after the end of the auction, write me to know the exact shipping costs. I DON'T take any fees for handling, the prices you will pay for the shippings will be EXACTLY the same showed on the Italian Postal Service Web Site.
Normally the shipping prices are more or less the following:
1) About 40-50 euro for Europe 2) About 60-70 euro for USA or Japan 3) Over 80 euro for South America, Oceania, etc.

Grading and Info
All my records are strictly graded following Record Collector Standard Grading. I don't usually use MINT unless the record is sealed and the cover is perfect. All the records are graded under a 100W lamp. If a record has any visual defect, I usually listen to it before the auction and you'll find a description in the section above. I'm not a "professional seller" but I've been collecting records for more than 35 years and I know what it means to receive a record in worse condition than it was described. I have been selling and buying rare records on Ebay for about 20 years now and all the buyers have always been very happy at the end of the transactions.
Grading e Condizioni di Vendita
Le condizioni di tutti i dischi messi in asta sono valutate seguendo gli standard della rivista Record Collector. Di solito non uso il MINT a meno che il disco non sia sigillato e la copertina perfetta. Gli standard di Record Collectors sono molto diversi da quelli italiani, quindi se descrivo un disco come VG+ (Very Good Plus) significa che il disco è in ottime condizioni (per la maggior parte degli altri collezionisti sarebbe un MINT) e non da buttare. Se il disco presenta dei difetti di solito lo ascolto prima dell'asta e potete trovare la descrizione nella sezione di sopra. Non sono un venditore professionista ma sono un collezionista da oltre trent'anni e so cosa significa vedersi arrivare un disco in condizioni peggiori di quanto fosse stato descritto. Vendo e compro dischi su Ebay da circa venti anni e chiunque abbia acquistato da me non ha mai lamentato problemi di alcun tipo.

All records are shipped in protective plastic sleeves (with the record outside of the cover) and packed in hard cardboard mailers. Shipping cost does not include insurance. If you have any question about shipping, please contact me before the end of the auction.

I dischi vengono spediti all'interno di buste di plastica protettive e con il disco fuori dalla copertina. I contenitori per la spedizione sono in cartone rigido utilizzato in doppio strato per una assoluta sicurezza. Gli LP vengono spediti tramite PACCOCELERE 3 e su specifica richiesta anche con PACCOCELERE 1. Le attuali disposizioni degli uffici postali non consentono la spedizione di un LP tramite POSTA RACCOMANDATA in quanto fuori misura standard. I 45 giri, gli EP ed i 10 Pollici possono essere inviati tramite POSTA RACCOMANDATA o POSTA RACCOMANDATA 1, sempre su specifica richiesta. Le spese di spedizione NON comprendono il servizio di assicurazione. Se desiderate avvalervi di tale servizio il costo di quest'ultimo dovrà essere aggiunto al costo della spedizione di base.
