rare German first press vinyl 4LP box set released in the late 1950s on black/gold DECCA stereo label with deep groove and catalognumber SXL-20022 / 1-4.
Beautiful box with signs of time comes complete with booklet and original discography innersleeves, but vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect!
Famous performances by Wilhelm Backhaus with Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality, same as the UK wideband Decca counterpart pressings... see photos.
