Vintage pre-war 78 rpm record: WILL ROGERS NOMINATES HENRY FORD FOR PRESIDENT b/w WILL ROGERS TELLS TRAFFIC CHIEFS HOW TO DIRECT TRAFFIC - Victor 45369, blue labels with batwing border design. Humorist Will Rogers jokingly nominates his friend, automaker Henry Ford, for president in a toast in 1923. “He’s the only man that could ever make Congress earn their salary. He would start a bill and give each one something to tack on to it. When it come out, it’d be ready to use.”.
Condition: EX+ (very clean with a nice sheen and a few very minimal scuffs; labels have a touch of very light rubbing and a small chip on each side).
