Description
Beautiful copy of the rare original 1970 pressing of Big Mama Thornton’s She’s Back LP on Backbeat BLP #68. A popular record that quickly sold out at the time in its initial release on this independent label, and so re-released later on the major ABC label, a much more common pressing. This is the rare independent original. The disc is just gorgeous and plays pretty much flawlessly and just beautifully. Barely the slightest sign of use. There are a few of those superficial spots that sometimes appear on records over time from being stored in acidic paper sleeves, but they are not in any way damage or wear of any kind. Really a top, beautiful copy that plays perfectly. The cover has only light general wear, with some scuffing, minor corner wear, and a faint ring, but no seam splits or any real damage at all. There is also a name written on the back. Really quite clean and striking. A truly top original copy all around, very hard indeed to beat.
