Italian pressing, EMR EMR09 (1971)

Unkown Italian library on the EMR label from 1971. One of the few still obscure Italian funk Holy Grail. Music composed by William Antonini (?) and played by himself (Organ\Spinett\Piano) with his funky group of six elements.

The whole LP is KILLER, not a weak track, forget Orf Big Band, Pyranas or the funky Valdambrini\Piana group! Record is full of Insane Mod Jazz-Funk tracks with psychedelic hammond, incredibly mad trombones and hypnotic trumpets, wild flute breaks, hard fuzz guitars, jazz dance interludes, funky claps, moody spinett and so on...

My personal favourite track is "Oxford" with its blaxploitation-chase funky atmosphere plus its buzzy flute brake that goes into an odd guitar jazz tempo and then it kicks again with funk motif! "Manchester" starts in a funky Placebo jazz style and then it easily rocks funky with loads of stylish mod claps! Even an amazing flute\piano bossa-nova in!

Cover: Strong VG++, almost perfect.
Record: Lp has been graded G due to many scuffs\marks and a couple of small weird residue. Plays really nice with background noise\light crackling especially on the few quiet parts and has some audible pops. Would be great for a DJ copy. Listen to the long recoded soulclip to understand audio quality.

Grading scale (strict gradings): M, M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G.
