Description

Welcome to Across the Tracks Music Store
This listing is for a very rare and hard to find 7 inch vinyl Single from:
William Bell
Title: Don't Stop Now
The other side is: Crying All By Myself
I am not sure which side is the A side, but Don't Stop Now received some Northern Soul exposure going back in time, so I am assuming that is the most popular of the two songs here.
Catalogue number S - 174
Label: Stax (Blue label Import) This single is a USA Import.
It has East,  BMI credited as publisher and it is distributed by Atlantic records in New York.
Matrix details are STX - 9092  11  on Don't Stop Now and STX  9093  11 on Crying All By Myself
STX 9092 and STX 9093 are also shown on the label.
Release Year: I am not entirely certain if this is a 1964 or 1965 pressing. I would hazard a guess it is a 1965 from my research.

This single is in Very Good Plus condition, or maybe slightly better. It might make a tentative near excellent. It plays superbly on both sides
Both sides of this 7" vinyl single play really well and apart from some start up crackles on Don't Stop Now and a few more at the start of Crying, this is a really great single and sounds fantastic.

The record comes in an original Atlantic - Atco Group company sleeve, which is in great condition too.

Please do ask any questions you may have before bidding if you need assistance.    Grading
I use the Rare Record Guide matrix as a guideline but also prefer to listen to the vinyl where possible and visually grade  the condition.
