William Onyeabor - Anything You Sow (Wilfilms, WLP 033, 1985)
Classic Nigerian electro-afro-beat that genuinely pains me to have to be selling this.
Please note this is the original, NOT the counterfeit which has been doing the rounds of late.
The difference between the two is gargantuan. Not only does the original have the full frequency range (the bootleg has no high end) but the copy runs at a marginally different speed too!!
As can be seen in the picture, the sleeve has some wear to the bottom right corner and around some of the edges. Vinyl has occasional crackle/surface noise but no pops, clicks, jumps and all-in-all in pretty good nick compared to some of the other Onyeabor LPs I've heard.
Also, although containing only 4 songs, each one is around the 10-minute mark, hence this is an album rather than an EP.
