Beautiful copy of the original 1970 pressing of Willie’s Laying my Burdens Down LP on RCA LSP-4404. One of the greatest of his early Nashville records before going outlaw in Texas, produced by Felton Jarvis, who also produced Elvis right around this time. It is also one of the best showcases for Willie’s wonderful guitar playing. Maybe his first true masterpiece. Anyhow this copy is magnificent. There are some superficial marks on the disc but they really are superficial and don’t make the slightest sound. It pays pretty much flawlessly and just beautifully all the way through. The cover is similarly clean… near pristine, actually. Only a tiny bit of cornerwear at the lower right, some faint ringwear on the back, and a promo cutout slit at the lower left, which isn’t damage. Truly a beautiful copy inside and out.
