Mint or M: STILL SEALED OR OPENED ONCE BUT AS NEW, NEVER PLAYED, NO SCUFFS. THE PERFECT RECORD.

Near Mint or NM:  RECORDS THAT APPEAR VIRTUALLY FLAWLESS. VIRTUALLY FLAWLESS ARE NOT PERFECT. A VERY MINOR SCUFF CAN APPEAR ON THE VINYL, BUT SHOULD BE VERY HARD TO SEE AND WILL NOT AFFECT THE SOUND.

Excellent or EX:  VINYL WILL HAVE MINOR SUPERFICIAL SCUFFS, ONLY VISIBLE UNDER VERY BRIGHT LIGHT. WEAR SHOULD BE MINIMAL, NO SCRATCHES THAT CAN BE FELT WITH THE FINGERNAIL. SCUFFS ARE INAUDIBLE!
Very Good + or VG +: VINYL WILL SHOW MORE SUPERFICIAL SCUFFS, NOTICEABLE TO THE NAKED EYE. UNDER A VERY BRIGHT LIGHT YOU WILL SEE MANY TINY LINES ACROSS THE SURFACE BUT THE SHOULD BE INAUDIBLE!
