AUDIOPHILE CLOSET CLEANING SALE. I WILL BE CLEANING OUT MANY ITEMS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY FOR YEARS. PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR TONS MORE STUFF, WITH MORE BEING ADDED AS TIME PERMITS. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** This is a very early self titled audiophile LP by Gay Owens (W-809) (1981). It is so early that the album liner notes talk about Dave Wilson using protype WAMM speakers as monitors for this recording. The recording was made using just 2 microphones with tube electronics, and recorded on a modified Revox A-77. The mastering was done by the late, great Bruce Leek, and the pressing was done on Teldec Virgin Vinyl by KM Records. -------- The record is in pristine condition with no trace of having been played. No scratches or marks of any kind. The jacket, like most with black covers; shows ring wear. There are no splits or bends and the corners are sharp.
