Marking 30 years since his passing, the final volume in this great Delroy Wilson trilogy turns attention to the flipsides. Rather than revisiting the more familiar hits, it pulls together dub cuts and alternate takes drawn from singles produced with Bunny Lee associate Rodguel Sinclair during the late 70s. Recorded at Harry J and King Tubby's studios, these sides are ripe with the studio craft of Scientist, Prince Jammy and King Tubby, where stripped rhythms and echo-laden mixes reshape Wilson's material into deep, spacious excursions. Two previously unreleased pieces from the Blackbeard archives add extra goodness to this fitting and bass-heavy tribute.
