Description

Here's a pair of undocumented tracks on acetate by the late Wilson Williams, who released one LP in 1978 on ABC (Up The Downstairs). The A-side "Love Is" is a nice, breezy straight ahead soul cut with some Sam Cooke influence in the vocal, while the other contains two mixes of a song called "Dear Sir," which is a bit more pop, like something by R.B. Greaves. Neither song was released in any form. The disc was made at DCT Recorders in Hollywood (no date specified on label) and is in VG+ condition with a few very light surface marks. Playback is excellent on both sides, from start to finish. The audio linked below comes directly from this copy:
