Original  UK Apple PAS 10007 LP with Large Poster and Info / Photo Liner Sleeve

Interesting copy of this classic album - In 1974 , The "Pop Week" section of The Sun Newspaper ran a Paul McCartney competion - I cannot remember what the First Prize was now , but runners-up were sent a copy of the LP along with the 7" of soon to be released 'Juniors Farm c/w Sally G' - The LP and the 7" have 'Factory Sample' stickers attached (they were sent these discs from Apple Records) as they were not actually commercial copies i.e. Competition Prizes . With the discs is the letter  from The Sun for the lucky runners-up . Interestingly the letter shows that at this time "Sally G" was to be the 'A' side of the single - Note the stamped 'A' impression on the label . However , as is well known , 'Juniors Farm' was the eventual A side issue ....

Both discs have very light use .... beautifully bright surfaces , faint trace on LP side one .... Bright , clean labels , light trace of spindle use ....The Discs play  really well , outstanding sound quality throughout : Graded at EXCELLENT condition.

The Sleeve has light use ... bright and clean , mild storage rub : Graded at Near EXCELLENT condition.

The Liner Sleeve and Poster have little use , crisp and clean : EXCELLENT+ condition.

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
