Winstons- "Color Him Father"/ "Amen, Brother"  (EXC)  (Metromedia MMS-117)   1969 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (7" 45 RPM Vinyl Record)    (SEE PICTURES)
The B side has become immortalized because of the 'Amen Break' by drummer Gregory Coleman half way into song. Since it has been sampled, or stolen, being used over well over a thousand times in songs such as N.W.A. (Straight Outta Compton), Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock, Salt-N-Pepa as well as other genres and even television themes. It is the most widely sampled song in history and sadly the Winstons received no royalties and the drummer responsible died destitute and homeless in 2006 and bandleader Richard Lewis Spencer died in 2020.
