Complete with printed inner sleeve. Legendary guitar punk classic from Portland. The first WIPERS album goes by the title IS THIS REAL? The brilliant tracks 'D 7' and ‘Return Of The Rat’ were both recorded as cover versions by great NIRVANA, as Kurt Cobain was a big fan of the band. Their debut album is crammed-full with perfect guitar hero tracks like ‘Window Shop For Love’ / ‘Tragedy’ / 'Up Front' / ‘Mystery’ / ‘Let’s Go Away’ and so on. US pressings were issued on Portlands 'Park Avenue’ label in 1979. This, the German pressing, was released on ‘Weird System’ records. An early label release (catalogue number WS 024). Although there is '1979' printed on the sleeve, this album was issued in 1987. Don't miss this classic.
