WIRE vinyl "On Returning (1977-1979) 12" LP First Pressing New wave / Punk

Description

This is a first run edition of a first pressing (SHSP 4127) with the following vinyl stamps:

• Matrix / Runout (Runout Side A, stamped): SHS P 4127 A-1-1- D
• Matrix / Runout (Runout Side B, stamped): SHSP 4127B-1-1-1 D

The sleeve is really excellent apart from a 1 inch split to the bottom edge ( photos of all edges supplied). Without this split I would be grading the sleeve at close to near mint. There is what appears as scuffing along the top edge but when you run your finger along it it's completely smooth and doesn't impact the shape in anyway, its purely discolouration.

The original inner is excellent with only 1 minor crease to the bottom left corner.

The listening experience is excellent with no clicks, pops, jumps, skips etc. There is low level background noise (crackle) during quieter moments of the record (of which there are not many), but it certainly doesn't impact the enjoyment of the record and isn't audible throughout the majority of the record.

Overall a great copy for Wire fans to get their mits on.
