Description
Here it is, the legendary first 7“ release from the glory year of 1977. Nowadays this 3-tracker rarely shows up. The same sold on eBay, in February 2010, for £40 and in April for £47 (UK). You are bidding on the original first UK pressing, released on ‘Harvest/EMI’ records in 1977 (catalogue number HAR 5144). With the band is Robert GoToBed who was the ART ATTACKS drummer for a short time. The band also features guitarist George Gill from ‘Good Vibrations’ punk band BEARS (Insane/Decisions). Without a doubt you can listen to three real classics which named ‘Mannequin’ / ‘Feeling Called Love’ and to the all-time pogo punk killer ‘1.2.X. U’. These tracks were produced by Mike Thorne who was also responsible for the classic ‘The Roxy, London WC2’ sampler. The sleeve is still in excellent condition. The vinyl is used but plays without any problem. Please note: there is also ‘276’ handwritten on the back sleeve and one label side (not a big deal if you ask me).
