The group's magnum opus, Argus is also the album from which Wishbone Ash's reputation as a progressive band stems — not only is the playing and the songwriting about as studied and elegant as they ever achieved, but for the first time, the melodies and the development of the songs matches the seriousness of the group's approach. Of course, much of what is here would only be considered "progressive" by the same people who got off on the progressive side of Uriah Heep, but it sounded real good.

(b)          The record is  apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(c)           The record is believed to come in its original stock inner sleeve.

(d)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
