I thought that, as this vinyl is so early, that it would not be so good but I was wrong! This is a classic in the true sense of the word. It has a heavy early pressing, the tracks are awesome and the audio is astounding in quality and musicianship.
Sleeve
No unwanted rips or tears. Showing slight wear to top and bottom edges. Corners wearing a little and a minimal crease on the spine, otherwise title clear and solid. A few indentations on reverse but overall grades excellent.
Labels
Rare early pressing- CORAL MCA record label in pink and red. Made in England with the Decca recording co., Ltd., Clean and no spindle wear to report. Nr perfect.
Vinyl
Thick, heavy first press. I love the feel of these vinyls. A lovely collector’s item. Jet black with a mirror finish. Very faint surface marks but not very prominent unless angled under strong sunlight.
Audio
No background interference. Channels show little signs of distortion. I was quite astonished considering its age. Silent grooves between tracks. One of the best pop groups of the 1970s. Brill tracks with fantastic electric guitar playing. Will delight any rock enthusiast! Plays perfect and all channels are crystal clear.
Summary
Awesome. If you have not got a copy of this album, then look no further. Brilliant rock music of the 1970’s, early thick pressing, a true original recording, rare pink/red coral RCA labels, audio perfect…what more could a record collector want? Will be difficult to find another in such a stunning condition.
