WISBONE ASH ''PILGRAMAGE'' ORIGINAL UK PRESSING! RAREST MCA LABEL VARIATION THE BEST AUDIO QUALITY TOP! ON ALL FREQUENCIES!!! -1L AND -2L MATRIX! LOOK! EARLIEST EVER MOTHER STAMPERS ''1'' ''G'' and ''1'' ''G'' VERY VERY RARE! SUPERBE ORIGINAL GATEFOLD COVER!!     This from my personal collection and being an avid colletor of these MCA label variations! I personally beleive that these labels were featured on the earliest of these pressings although there is liturature that says the contrary! ,,even though these vinyls with these variations are highly collectable! Please note! the earliest mother stampers!!!! '1' 'g' on both sides!!   

Pilgrimage is the second album by legendary rock band Wishbone Ash. The album focuses more on folk and acoustic music as opposed to the blues rock sound that dominated the first album. The album also contains an instrumental jazz workout ("Vas Dis") and a four-part harmony vocal track in the spirit of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young ("Valediction").

The album sold well, reaching no.14 in the UK charts, but the band would reach their creative and commercial peak with their next release.

Rarest ever label variation! and superbe top! audio throughout! very very collectable and sought after!!

The vinyl

Super thick and chunky type of vinyl onmly found on earliest pressings! This lays perfectly flat on the turntable!

On initial inspection this looks awesome! Still retains its original sheen from new! Only in strong light can possibly any (very few) surface marks\scratches be seen! Mostly non audio sounding! I have played this through track for trak prior to listing! The audio is rated at the very top on all frequencies! it is awesome! (no) distortion or any signs of any grooveware at all! I heard no loud clicks or pops and more importantly i heard no major background noise so common on these early pressings!

Please note I always add this disclaimer!Please allow for the odd static ticks\crackle here and there  (not) consistant throughout the audio! Please remwember that this is a genuine 37 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 37 year old system! 

You will be hard pressed to find a better sounding original!
