WISHBONE ASH PILGRIMAGE
Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : MCA Catalogue No : MDKS 8004
Matrix : 7-LNMG-244-2L / 245-1L
This 1971 UK 1st press is on the rare orange and purple MCA label. It is complete with the earliest 2L/1L matrix, the original blue stereo Decca innerwide spine matt Robert Stace gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. It has an exceptional gloss, with just one mark on Side A and a few light wispy marks on both sides. The label has the wonderful original clean sharp colours and text. There is no spindle wear, just a couple of very light spider marks.
The sound quality is Very Good. When played loud very light background noise can be heard and there is the slightest noise between tracks and a couple of light clicks on the mark, but certainly nothing that would spoil the enjoyment of this album at any point.
The 1st press gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. The colours are bright and the text and pictures are solid and sharp. There is some edge wear. The rear of the sleeve has a couple of creases but is still extremely bright and clean. The inside pictures are sharp and unworn.
