MEGA RARE!! “With The Beatles” LP. Original 1963 UK. MONO. RARE DECCA PRESSING. DECCA!!
PRESSING!! EX++/NM.
Up for auction is this Mega RARE DECCA Contract Pressing, “With The Beatles.” This is a second pressing, second album offering. Finding contract singles is easy. Finding albums, especially in this Superb condition is like looking for the holy grail of vinyl. This is definitely a MUST HAVE ALBUM!!
The vinyl has of course been played and shows no sign of its age nor any visible indiscretions. You might see an odd wispy line under a strong halogen light, but otherwise to the naked eye is as near perfect as you would like to see. Just wonderful.
COVER: The much rarer E.J.DAY sleeve. Just a slight indiscretion to the bottom flip but certainly nothing serious or hideous. ( See my pictures). Otherwise quite superb. Front is beautiful and displays a high gloss with no indiscretions whatsoever.
VINYL: As described above and displaying superb quality play. Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. It would be hard to find better. Graded: a very strong EX++/NM.
LABELS: Both superb. No writing nor any wear. Showing the DECCA ridge which is present on both sides 15mm from the outer edge of the label.
MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE ONE: XEX 448 -7N
SIDE TWO: XEX 447 - 7N
STAMPERS: SIDE ONE : 3 O (No stampers @ 3 o,clock)
SIDE TWO : 4 (No stampers @ 3 o,clock)
INNER SLEEVE: Near mint original “Emitex” type.
AUDIO: Superb thumping MONO sounds. No distortion. Stunning!!
To sum up. This album is as close to mint as you will find anywhere. The sounds are superb and truly classic. A MUST HAVE item for any true collector of things rare and beautiful. DO NOT LET THIS GET AWAY!!!
This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
