This is an exceptional rarety!!!! The second album to be released in the UK by the Beatles in 1963. This is not only the earliest 1st pressing but the rarest with the above  charactoristics in very exceptional condition for 44 years old!!!!!!

The vinyl.

This is of the thicker heavier and more robust type of vinyl with deeper grooves than the later pressings which were more flimsier!!!!!

On visual inspection the vinyl retains its original deep sheen from new!!!!looking under strong light there are very few surface marks\scratches, These have little if (no) effect on the audio that i heard!!!!! I have played this through and in general found the audio clear and vibrant and extreemely enjoyable!!!! I heard (no) clicks, pops ,jumps or skips during play also please note there was no background noise at all even between tracks this was exceptionaly quiet!!!! This is very very rare for a 1st pressing!!!!!Please note! that although i never heard any problems with any pops (I would class myself as highly criticle)I always add this disclamer! please allow for the odd pop certainly not consistant during the audio!!! as this vinyl is the original and 44 years old and would have been played on a 44 year old system!!!! From my personal experiance of collecting beatles albums for more than 35 years you will have to go a long way to find a better 1st pressing than this graded excellent\excellent plus!!!!!

The labels (zkt taxcodes!!!!)

ZKT tax code is stamped in the middle of side1. this is exceptionaly rare and this alone makes this exceptionaly collectable!!!!! This features the Parlophone labels, ''recording 1st published..''  and ''Made in Great Britain'' (only 1st press) alsol ''The Parlophone Co....'' is featured around the label rim (only 1st Press) The credit for ''Money'' is ''Jobett'' (very early1st pressings only'') Please do not under estemate the rarety of this vinyl!!!!!Also ''You Really gotta'' miss spelt on side 2.(only 1st press) and was later corrected on later pressings very rare!!!!!!!

The record inner sleeve

This is the original ''emitex'' sleeve with ''impotant'' (only original press) There are no splits or tares although ther is some creasing aand staining with age. Please note! this is very fragile and is noe stored seperately from the vinyl!!!!!

The cover

Another rarety to add to this album is the E,Day & Co printed laminated flipback cover!!!(the rarest and most sought after) There are (no) splits or tares!!!! There is general bstorage ware to the corners and light creasing can be clearly seen in the photos provided The spinre and edges are fine and the writing ''The Beatles'' can clearly be seen (see Photo) the rear is exceptoionaly clean (these normaly become very grubby and stained) There are light signs of bubling and light staining probably due to the fact it has been damp at one stage (this is clearly highlighted in photos)!!!!!! The cover holds the miss spelling of the title track ''You really got a hold on me'' it is spelt ''You Really gotta Hold On Me'' (later corrected!!!!!!!!!!

Please note! I have tried to be as honest and to describe all aspects of this album to the best of my ability and this is my honest opinion Of coarce every one has different opinions especially when it comes down to music. I have provided a few pictures so that all aspects of this exceptionaly rare album can clearly be seen. Please do not underestemate the rarety of this album!! you don't see many of these about!!!!!!

This album has been stored in a clear record protector which would be dispatched with the record!!!
