VERY RARE ORIGINAL 1963 U.K. DECCA CONTRACT PRESSING BLACK & YELLOW LABELS LARGE MONO TO OUTER RARER DARKER FRONT PANEL GARROD & LOFTHOUSE SLEEVE.

The Parlophone Co" and "Recording first published 1963" label text with the "You Really Gotta" misprint on sleeve, but with correct ‘You Really Got A’ on label.

NO SKIPS OR JUMPS. OCCASIONAL ‘CRACKLE & POP’, BUT NOTHING THAT OVERPOWERS OR SPOILS THE ENJOYMENT OF THE AUDIO.

VINYL: VG+

Hairlines/light marks to either side. Nothing feelable, with the vinyl retaining a nice glossy finish.

Side 2 cleaner than side 1.

LABELS: VG+

Side 1 is generally clean and bright. Some light marks to ‘O’ & ‘N’ of Parlophone. Light spindle ware.

Side 2 as side 1. ‘You Really Got A Hold On Me’, to label. ‘Gotta’ to sleeve.

SLEEVE (Garrod & Lofthouse). (Darker front panel)

‘Gotta’ track listing.

‘Gotta’ sleeves are actually the more common pressing of the sleeve, less common is the darker front panel. They are distinguishable by the near invisibility of the left eyes of George, Paul & Ringo, and are becoming increasingly scarce.

There is some light creasing/ringing/ware to the front panel. See photo for condition of top right corner.

The rear panel, though a little grubby, is graffiti free, with a little cracking/creasing to the right side flip-back.

The spine, though easily legible, does have a little creasing.

The usual light rubbing/corner bumps.

EMITEX INNER (Tracing-paper-lined). EXCELLENT

The Decca contract press Emitex inner, was tracing paper lined, rather than the more usual Beatles Emitex inner, which was poly-lined.

This original inner is in excellent condition, with no rips or tares, just a little light creasing.
