We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

RARE...advance release WHITE LABEL PROMO = Original 1972 first pressing vinyl in thick gatefold cover of this legendary heavy-psych crew. Collectors and fans will well want to investigate this 42 year old original, as it contains not only completely different artwork cover design but totally different song mixes from the known Japanese pressing ... right off the bat, the blood curdling scream followed by meanacing heavy rythms will tell you this is a different recording by the Flower Travaling Band ...the band also has one foot firmly planted into the space rock era, meaning Satori will also appeal to listeners smitten by the sounds of Ash Ra Temple, & Amon Duul II. Joe Yamanaka, the lead vocalist comes across as an underground Robert Plant, and by the time Satori Part 2 kicks in, your head will be blown off clean. This track has some of the deadliest eastern guitar riffs known to man and it’s held down by a heavy blues back beat. Yamanaka shouts, “There is no up or down” throughout this beautiful display of chaos. It’s really that good, and unlike anything we have heard before or since. "Map" begins softly but kicks in with some intense guitar playing and the kind of youthful vigor that’s only associated with teenagers...
"Satori" is the second album, after they had changed their name from "The Flowers". It contains five long songs, titled "Satori Part I-V". The whole album has a very special atmosphere. It's not easy to describe, maybe mystical, dark and melancholic are some words we'd like to drop. In some songs, as in "Satori Part I", they play some kind of early epic Doom, brutal heavy riffs with nice tempo-changes. The clear and high voice of singer Joe completes this great song. But it's a different animal to BLACK SABBATH. You can hear, that FLOWER TRAVELLIN' BAND are strongly influenced through ancient Japanese/Eastern music. Like the second song "Satori II" , which starts with a hypnotic psychedelic guitarsound and then turns into a instrumental part with Eastern percussion. But the song doesn't "freak-out" into a endless jam. The band is very tight and structured with a heavy crunching guitar tone throughout. "Satori III" is a very doomy jammer. The song is like a crossover between Doom/Heavyrock and this typical ancient touch. It changes into a heavy groovy part which goes into psychedelia and then back to the opening theme with an oriental-like ending. Really fantastic! "Satori IV"starts more progressive to change then into a groovy Blues part with a harmonica. Joe has a very unique vocal-style on "Satori Part V". The album closes with this song, that goes more in it the Heavy-Prog direction. The production throughout sounds very clear and powerful.

CONDITION: The cover: Really hard to find without shelf wear, the dark in the cover IF found almost always has wear...this PROMO is a survivor, in NICE "EX" (excellent) to M- sharp stiff and solid all over....with no seam splits, no bends, no writing...TOP level
The vinyl: all glossy clean on both sides M- and plays outstanding ...the white promo labels are CLEAN
