 •Other Info: This is a great one!  A WNEW radio documentary aired in 1967 (written and produced by Steve Young) about a teenage, “Marcy,” a strung-out teenage hippie runaway who was living in New York.  The record (one-sided) has some great lines and has been sampled by The Orb, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, and Meat Beat Manifesto.  The musical bed used at the beginning and end of the record is from Jefferson Airplane’s Surrealistic Pillow.  You can hear the whole thing (and read a background piece) by clicking here:
