... an awesome 'object' and musically great artists record by Wolf Vostell who was, in the early 1960s, co-founder of the Fluxus movement and produced intermedia actions and installations, then films and extension of the Dé-collage actions into the electronic sphere. Since the early 1960s, Vostell uses a variety of media and materials in his happenings, actions, and installations without being a media artist in the strict sense. This double album comes with a cover made of a standard record mailer, with multi-color print and original color photo glued on, designed by Wolf Vostell. It comes with a colored supplement, 16 pages, partially made of pergamyn, documentary photos, scores, texts of the performance on may 8, 1982 at Weserburg in Bremen. Wolf Vostell setzte von 1950 an erste künstlerische Ideen um. 1953 begann er eine Lithografenlehre und besuchte in Wuppertal die Werkkunstschule. Unter dem Eindruck einer Parisreise 1954 stellte Vostell erste Decollagen her. 1955/1956 besuchte er die Pariser École National Supérieure des Beaux Arts und 1957 die Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
1958 fand unter Vostells Beteiligung das erste europäische Happening in Paris statt, und Vostell produzierte erste Objekte mit Fernsehern und Autoteilen. Beeindruckt von der Arbeit von Karlheinz Stockhausen im elektronischen Studio des WDR im Jahre 1954 entstanden 1959 elektronische "TV-décoll/agen". Damit begann sein Engagement in der Fluxus-Bewegung, die er Anfang der 1960er mitbegründete.
