This was where it all started for Chelsea Wolfe - before the critical hosannas and hipster kudos - with a collection of songs recorded originally by herself on a Tascam 8-track, yet bearing all the atmosphere, sleight-of-hand and melodic skill that would serve to make her a figurehead for a new stripe of nocturnal and melancholic song craft.
