LP: The Wolfgang Dauner Group – Rischkas Soul
German pressing on BRAIN, 0060.403, black labels, “1st Brain recordings”-edition from ca. 1980.The history of this record is still unkown to many collectors, so here it is: this LP was recorded at Tonstudio Bauer, November 28th 1969. The first release was a private pressing on “Dietrich Privat-Production”, there were 2 versions, one was called “Dietrich’s Soul” and the otherone was called “Rischkas Soul” (the LP’s producer was Horst A.Rischka). These issues are incredible rare and high-priced, both issues have a different ( weaker ) cover-artwork than the BRAIN issue. All BRAIN issues are nowadays rare, too; they show up in auctions only once in a while. The record is loaded with rare-grooves, psych-/kraut-jazz, fuzz-guitars, cooking hammond and more. 4 tracks written by Dauner, 1 by Schwab plus a wicked version of Nat Adderley’s “Jive Samba”. Highly recommended !

Earlier in 1969 the group recorded the OIMELS-LP for MPS, in the same year Sigi Schwab also did the dope soundtrack for “Vampiros Lesbos: Sexadelic Dance Party“, I offer a blue vinyl copy of this on „crippled dick hot wax” in my current auctions. I also offer a BRAIN edition of the first ET CETERA album, recorded in December 1970, in my auctions.
Condition: LP looks pristine and plays in mint- all of the time. The cover is close to perfect but has a tiny cut-out on top, close to the left corner.
Zustand: die LP sieht hervorragend aus und spielt durchgängig in mint-. Das Cover ist fast perfekt hat aber einen Mini Cut-Out an der oberen Kante Richtung linke Ecke. alle Platten habe ich professionell gereinigt und angehört (meist ganz, manchmal in Ausschnitten). Kommen mit neuer Außen- & Innenhülle !

after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

I also visually graded the record in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve
