Description
Up for auction is the full set of four colored vinyl promotional 7-Inch 45rpm singles used to promote the box set, Woodstock 50: Back to the Garden by Rhino Records. The A-side includes a montage of acid-themed stage announcements from the 1969 Woodstock Festival – including Wavy Gravy, Grace Slick, Country Joe McDonald, Chip Monck and John Morris; the B-side is a selections of attempt to persuade festival attendees to descend from the lighting towers – featuring Chip Monck, Bob “The Bear” Hite and the Audience. Only issued in four different colors corresponding to the varieties of acid referenced in the stage announcement – brown, green, flat blue and orange with the transcripts of the recordings on the sleeves. Each is marked, “For Promotion Use Only / Not for Sale”. Records are in excellent condition; little wear to the sleeves.
