Description

Track listing[edit]

On the LP release, side one was backed with side six, side two was backed with side five, and side three was backed with side four. This was common on multi-LP sets of the time, to accommodate the popular record changer turntables.

Most of the tracks have some form of stage announcement, conversation by the musicians, etc., lengthening the tracks to an extent. Times are listed as the length of time the music was played in the song, while times in parentheses indicate the total running time of the entire track.

Runout/Deadwax ST-CTN-701881-G STERLING

There is crackle between songs, occasional surface noise (a few songs more than others) and a few occasional minor pops.  No skips.  Hard to find a good copy of this set but I think this one is very very good.  I played on a Dual 505-2 turntable and recorded the entire album.  Sounds really good.

Sides 1, 2, 5 EX; Sides 3 (has the most surface noise), 4, 6 (some occasional minor pops)

Album cover is a cut-out.

I use the most current Goldmine Price Guide to determine the value of my vinyl less a pre-determined discount.  And, according to Goldmine, the value listed in the Guide is NM only.  VG+ is 50% of NM condition, therefore, I would value VG++ 60-70% and EX 80% of NM value.  VG (which very few of my albums are) would be 25% of NM appraisal.  I do try to take outer sleeve condition into account but I place more value on playable rating.
