This record is in very good condition. It does have spindle marks visible on each label but there are no pen marks, scuffs or stains. There is no serious wear to the centre holes and overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything deep or major but do have faint sleeve 'scuffs' and signs of use/light lines/marks showing in normal light. There are some more incredibly light wispy lines visible under very bright but not a drastic amount and again nothing deep or very serious. So overall a vintage used record that has no nasty deep marks or serious defects but has signs of use and age to each side.
I play tested the record and it played well enough but was not a perfect clear audio experience. It lays flat on the deck and there is little to no movement in the record arm. The audio has no skips, sticks or loud tics but there is some interference in places. None of this is hugely disruptive to the speaking/show and all jokes can be heard and are easy to follow. I noted light spluttering on side 1 for the first 5 - 10 minutes or so before the last half of the side was a lot clearer. Side 2 plays as the second half side 1 does and is much clearer. So really there in no interference that is horrid or very disruptive but there is some noises for the opening quarter of the lp as I say. It is graded at VG and is over 50 years old so do not expect cd like sound quality.
The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has mild wear and rubbing to the edges and corners with the writing along the spine all legible. There are no splits or weak areas on the sleeve and overall it is solid all round. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks to either side but there signs of age with ring marks, laminate creasing to the front(edges and top right corner area) and also discolouring/grubbiness to the rear. Overall a solid sleeve with no major issues but with general age related wear, creasing and grubbiness. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original poly-lined Pye inner which is in very good+ condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but does have creasing and age related discolouring to it.
