Description

This is a really nice copy of a HMV record player. It is made from mahogany colour wood, with a large brass horn and a wind up handle on the side. It comes with a china figure of 'Nipper' the HMV mascot. I have had this for over 10 years, more for decorative purposes, it has been played very little, but is in great condition and the horn is polished and shiny. It could make a nice gift for Christmas.

This plays 78 rpm, it has 3 settings '78'  and 'slow' or 'fast' I am assuming this is for records of other speeds, but can't guarantee it, as I have only ever played 78's on it. The sound is very loud and clear and just like the originals, to have a lower volume, you literally have to 'stick a sock in it'  !  - in other words you have to stuff something into the horn, to muffle the volume

As we are so close to Christmas, I can send it by courier, so that it arrives in time.
