Description
WSC 1-12 Winston Churchill His Memoirs and His Speeches 1918-1945 Decca 12LP BOX.
"Of all the talents bestowed upon men, none is so precious as the gift of oratory. He who enjoys it wields a power more durable than that of a great king. He is an independent force in the world. Abandoned by his party, betrayed by his friends, stripped of his offices, whoever can command this power is still formidable."
Winston Churchill is widely considered to be one of the greatest speakers of the 20th century. Among his most famous speeches were those in 1940 when Churchill rallied a nation with his words and optimism.
This box set, released in 1964, contains 12 LPs of Winston Churchills Speeches and an illustrated guide to the contents of the discs. All presented in a three dimensional box designed to look like a Hardback Book.
All discs look unplayed, box is in excellent condition, some slight foxing to booklet, all in original shipping box.
