Here we have a unique import vinyl release of WWII Chinese War Music housed inside of a 40 page full color book. Since I can’t read the writing on this I tried looking up the catalog number on Discogs and elsewhere online but could not find any info. It seems to have been released by Columbia Records, my guess is during the 60s or 70s. I listened to the first track on the vinyl and it was orchestral music w/ vocals, presumably released in China during the war era. The vinyl has a sleeve attached to the inside of a 40 page hard cover book, which fits inside of an outer hard cardboard sleeve. The book is read from right to left and features many great color illustrations and historic photos of WWII Chinese military action, including fighting off Japanese troops, cool stuff! The outer cover also features a #1 on it making me believe it’s the first in a volume of these releases. I wish I had more info on this but sadly I do not! Everything is in great condition w/ the worst wear to the outer cover, still being in excellent shape. Vinyl is NM, glossy and beautiful. Will ship promptly, thanks for looking!
