Up for auction is a real peace of radio and WWII history.


Two 16" Radio transcription discs recorded by WTIC in Hartford of the NBC line on August 18, 1945 


It is NBC radio's coverage of the Arrival of the Japanese Peace Envoys on August 18, 1945.


This stuff NEVER turns up so now is your chance to get a really cool peace of radio.


CONDITION

Part 2 and Part 3 play through fine, however, they need to be cleaned.  (NOTE: Cleaning an acetate is different than cleaning a regular record.  Please look up online on how to do so)


Part 1 is flaking and cannot be played (Please See Pics)


Part 3 has minor flaking on the UNRECORDED part.  DOES NOT affect the recorded portion.  Plays fine (Please see pics)
