I’mproudly offering for your consideration a vintage WorldWar II Voice-O-Graph Compliments of GEM Razors and Blades American Safety RazorCorp ~ Gem Division - Brooklyn New York. “One of Gem’s contributions to themorale of America’s Armed Forces and the folks back home” This is a small 6 ½”wide plastic - recordable record type of piece that Gem made for families orsoldiers to record messages to each other on, and then mail. It was anexcellent promotion that - for its time - was a very unique way to be able tohear each other’s voices. The décor is very detailed on this item. The frontsays “BUY STAMPS * BUY BONDS” all around the other edges. Then, in a smallercircle is has different men and women - from WWI and up to WWII - including anurse, a Navy sailor, a fighter pilot, etc. Army - Air Force - Marines - NavyMilitary. Brightly colored with red - light beige - and greys. On back - itsays “Authentic scenes of Gem blade reporters making thousands of freevoice-o-grams throughout the nation.” Then is has several black and whiteoriginal scenes. This item does have some wear from over the years. It does notsit totally flat- The envelope has some wear. The front of the envelope reads: “Now we takePleasure in bringing you the voice of – (fill-in) Jack. This knife belonged to my Great Uncle Jackand which came from my uncle’s estate. I’m selling this knife as is, no returns. I’ll let my photos do most of my descriptionsince a picture is worth a thousand words. Photos are taken with and without a flash and some with quarter to giveyou a perspective of the size of the item. All my items come from a smoke free and pet free home. Sorry no returns.
