Description
I’ve been an eBay member for over 17 years with over 1700 100% positive feedback. This is a relatively new account for music and memorabilia only.
Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks.
WYNDER K FROG – I AM A MAN / SHOOK SHIMMY SHAKE – RARE 1st P of I’M A MAN – VG
The rare original release, which was repressed as I’m A Man / Shook Shimmy & Shake. Rare in any condition and this is not a perfect copy, visually VG, but plays closer to EX. Labels are the first pink version with the “eyeball”.
There are quite a few sleeve marks / hairlines on both sides. Side A has a couple of light scuffs and a white mark (see photo), the scuffs aren’t deep enough to be an issue and I couldn’t hear the white mark until the fade out and then soft in the background. It plays through with no sticks or jumps, details below.
A Side
Matrix: WIP 6014 A?1 420 1 – There is a light crackle during the run-in and the 1st 10 seconds before it fades. Plays well and sounds great. Sticker mark on the label.
B Side
Matrix: WIP 6014 B?1 420 1 – Again, a light crackle during the run-in and just the 1st few seconds, but fine after that. Plays well with the occasional background click. Both sides have what looks like a faint water mark around the edge of the labels and it’s more noticeable on this side.
Comes in a vintage Island company sleeve, which has a tear on one side, but still good to have.
