Sleeve -- VG+. White seam wear that's shown up on the edges of the black matte cover. Please note -- these are not seam splits, just gentle edge wear. This is a beautiful copy LP -- EX/NM. Great condition
Here's one of the rarest and coolest of all the Bluesville LPs, and one that's become quite sought after recently. Copies of this have recently gone for $400/$500 on eBay and other record sites.
This is the Trident logo pressing, which came out a year or two after the initial run. Still incredibly rare.
Walton was a barber and local Civil Rights' leader in Mississippi, and a helluva guitar player -- his playing almost sounds like the origins of Scotty Moore. I'd put this up there with "Mr. Scrapper's Blues" by Scrapper Blackwell and the K.C. Douglas' LP as being the best of the albums on Bluesville, and I think I've heard just about every one of them.
