Description

This is a boxed set of all four operas in the Wagner ring cycle, Ring of the Nibelung, Complete Edition.  It includes the book with notes and the complete libretto in German, English and French.  Von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic teamed with Deutsche Grammophon to produce what many believe is the finest recording ever made to date of this work.

This is my personal copy which I acquired years ago and it hasn't been played in a long time.  Its been well-cared for but there is definitely some wear to the box and a little bit of edgewear to the dustjacket of the book.  I haven't listened to the lp's in years but I always took good care of them; still, I can't guarantee that every disc is absolutely perfect and may contain the normal clicks, pops, hisses, etc. of lp's of this age but no scratches that I'm aware of.
