Description
Waiting For The Sun - The Doors US - 2nd Pressing - 1969 Reissue 'Red & White' Labels
Multiple 1st pressings of this release were issued beginning in July 1968. All have the large 'tan & white' Elektra label logo.
In 1969, this 2nd pressing (up for sale) was issued with a large 'red & white' Elektra logo label. This pressing is the only one to have ever been made using the 'red & white' label and very few were manufactured. This 1969 'red & white' label in fact rarer than the 1968 'tan & white' label.
The album was not reissued again until 1974, by which time Elektra had gone to its 'butterfly' labels.
Note: This piece was originally sealed and was opened by me just prior to listing it so as to ID when it was made.

Vinyl Play Back: NM No issues to report. Audio is gorgeous!
Cover: EX- A miniscule bump to the upper corner, and soft press at the spine center. The bottom corners have a small notch in them which to my eye is more a fabrication issue than usage damage or wear. This cover is in superb condition.
Vinyl Visual: NM-
Labels: NM-
Original Inner: NM- The inner is the same as those that came w/the 1968 pressings. This was likely a very early batch of the 1969 pressing.
INV: 368

Grading endeavors to be conservative. (Please see below for grading scale)
All open vinyl is shipped in a new poly-inner, and the album cover in a poly-sleeve.
Vinyl is cleaned on a VPI 16.5 machine and test played 'start-to-finish' prior to listing, unless otherwise noted.
'Vinyl Playback' will always address egregious audible concerns. If you encounter any issues with your purchase, please contact me prior to leaving negative or neutral feedback.
My goal is your 100% complete satisfaction.

Album covers are graded on a case by case basis given the myriad of issues which may impact each.
