Description
Walking on a Dream by Empire of the Sun (Record, 2009) PROMOTIONAL COPY Vinyl.
Housed in a gatefold sleeve with black printed inner.
Comes with Electrospective sticker affixed to front plastic and barcode sticker on reverse (then a promotional only sticker over the barcode).
PROMOTIONAL COPY - these were issued to staff at the label working on the ELECTROSPECTIVE promotion which ran in the last year or 2 of EMI (and subsidiary labels) prior to their acquisition by Universal Music Group. The only difference between this and the version released is a PROMO ONLY sticker on the shrink wrap over the barcode. Still pretty cool as a variant for a collector. It’s rare without the sticker (1 on Discogs for £440). The promo sticker is just a cool variation and talking point.
New and sealed never opened. This is the 2009 release despite the P&C’s saying 2008, this is a common thing to happen as pressings sometimes spill over into the next year for production reasons or the release date gets pushed back for some reason (I can’t recall on this release but thought I’d mention it).
I’ve decided to sell loads of my collection from when I used to work in the music industry as I don’t play them.
Most of my collection is sealed and this is one of those sealed items. All have been packed in really useful boxes and stored at optimum temperature away from direct light and heat.
EU Pressing (Identical to AU release with the exception of the P&C notices and legal verbiage/ring wording).
Dispatched via Royal Mail in a Record Mailer with card Stiffeners.
Trusted eBayer with 100% positive feedback since 2005.
